Created in 1918 by a French group and purchased in 1969 by the ALJ family, Société Nouvelle des Moulins du Maghreb is an industrial unit specialising in flour milling. This subsidiary offers a wide and varied product range of soft wheat flours and has 3 production units with a total crushing capacity of 6500 qx. SNMM is one of the largest flour mills on the continent.

Cap Holding bought the Moony mills in 2014. The subsidiary has two industrial units: a flour mill with a crushing capacity of 350 T per day and a durum wheat semolina mill of 250 T per day. Moony has its own fleet of 52 trucks and 54 motorcycles for presale. This brand benefits from a high media visibility throughout several advertising campaigns involving Moroccan celebrities. Our subsidiary’s products are marketed under two brand names: Moony and Chaibia and are available in wholesalers, supermarkets, hypermarkets and small shops.

Moulins de Berrechid products are marketed throughout Morocco, mainly under the GATO brand. It’s main customers include the traditional market, industrialists and bakeries.

Up to 240 tonnes of durum wheat are produced every day by the mill, whose products are distributed among the group’s brands: Ifoulki, Gato and Perla as well as industrial producers of pasta and couscous.

Additionally, Alf Mabrouk is the only factory in Morocco to be registered under the law 28/07 relating to the sanitary safety of food products.
